Just down the block from our hotel was the Chinese National Ethnic Minorities Culture Park. China boasts 56 ethnic minorities (among them Koreans!) and this park aims to celebrate their unique cultures.
It was a quiet Wednesday when I went. Perhaps all the kids were back in school or something, but I was one of nearly a dozen tourists in the park. There was a second section to the park — across the bridge — which I later realized was the amazing wooden bridge crossing Minzuyuan Road — but I never figured out how to get to the bridge, so all these pictures are from one side.
